This arlicle aims to highlight the imporlance of conceptual design in childhood's teacher education. Explores the relationship between teacher's knowledge and his research, demonstrating the need for philosophical ref/ection in this context. Thus, it emphasizes the imporlance of knowing the classical authors that influenced the construction of the childhood's concept until the Philipe Aries, considered a modem c/assic in the historical and social study of childhood.
