Abstract

This paper discusses the potential of research groups to
become a true educational space for both graduate students and their advisors as well to better delineate research topics and to strengthen graduate programs. The paper focus on goals and conditions of scientific knowledge production. Moreover it proposes that research groups stop being burocratic and formalist to become educational spaces to improve quality of graduate courses.
