INSTRUCTIONS TO AUTHORS

Types of documents accepted

The Revista de Educação PUC-Campinas publishes original articles from doctoral researchers and doctoral students from various national and international graduate programs in the field of Education and related areas, who research topics in line with the journal's descriptors and their boundaries. The journal does not consider supervision as co-authorship in the texts. For co-authored articles, at least one of the authors must hold a doctorate.

The Revista de Educação PUC-Campinas accepts the submission of articles derived from Course Completion Works (TCCs), Scientific Initiation (IC), dissertations, and theses, including those developed by independent researchers without institutional affiliation. In the case of TCCs, IC, and dissertations, submission will only be accepted if the article is prepared in co-authorship with the respective supervisor, who must hold a doctoral degree.

The Revista de Educação PUC-Campinas accepts submissions and, when approved, publishes articles in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, which fall into the following categories:

  • Research Article [originals]: contributions aimed at disseminating unpublished research results, with a relevant theme for the field;
  • Dossier: section dedicated to the publication of articles that are interconnected, from different authors, addressing a current topic of interest;
  • Essays: contextualized reflection, allowing greater freedom for the author to defend a particular position, aiming to deepen the discussion or present a new contribution/approach regarding a relevant theme;
  • Interviews: with professionals, researchers, or individuals whose opinions help to inform knowledge about a specific topic.
  • Reviews: aimed at presenting, contextualizing, and critically analyzing printed or online books published in the last three years, related to the disciplinary field of Architecture and Urbanism, according to the scope and focus of the journal.
  • Review Article: an article that critically summarizes the scientific knowledge on a specific topic. Also known as a literature review.
