In this paper we intend to discuss school inclusion as a productive tool of neoliberal governability. To do this we based our study on the contributions of Michel Foucault about governmentability and biopolitical strategies. We problematize school inclusion as an important device of social risk management and prevention. By constituting a network that embodies heterogeneous elements, it articulates different knowledge, institutions and a variety of rules, besides scientific proclamations and architectonic organizations. By thinking about this network, inclusion makes the governmentability device work. A new way of governing the citizens is then announced, which transforms the behavior of the individuals into an object of governmental action. The presence of a neoliberal political rationality that creates different mechanisms to rule the citizens has been perceived. At the same time as the existence of policies of social protection are observed, we can also see some initiatives that intend to produce self-governed individuals, able to maintain themselves and to provide the required resources. As it is, school inclusion has been building itself inside this network which has the purpose of governing the citizen’s life in what it produces in terms of collective phenomena.
