Abstract

The technology of the Internet and the WWW revived through the media of the computer and telecommunication the possibility of the “distance teaching”, which used to be practised basically with the postal service, radio and TV. More than a vehicle for courses in certain knowledge domains, we argue that the Internet represents a new place to discuss the traditional pedagogic pratices.
