Master Dissertation abridgement which presents some concepts of BOURDIEU's Etnomethodolgy Theory, about the constitution and the dynamics caracterization of the Information Activity Field (taking over its existence). In this Field, the information professional sare looking for reiative positions. They "fight" to get the power quantum that could be reached by them, not only for the individuais, but for the professions as a whole. It presents parcial results: description and sociological analisys of three information professions (Librarianship, Journalism and Informatic).
