Abstract

The aim of this paper was to review aspects of the professional and scientific productions of the psychologist considered to be the founding father of the study of learning problems and disabilities and of the modem Specia/ Education. To consider only a few of his many accomplishments it is recalled theit the worked with: scientific research; early intervention; leaming disabilities and problems; underlyng process; evaluation; remediation; educational technology and mainstreaming. He was also teacher and adviser.
