CALL FOR PAPERS - CLIMATE EMERGENCY AND LITIGATION IN THE CONTEXT OF HUMAN RIGHTS AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
The Journal of Human Rights and Social Development, published by the Graduate Program in Law at PUC-Campinas, aims to disseminate scientific research that seeks to understand the roots of social and legal issues contributing to the current structural deficit concerning the protection of fundamental rights in all their dimensions.
One of the greatest contemporary challenges—if not the foremost—is the climate crisis. This crisis is a defining feature of the Anthropocene era, in which we are making the world an increasingly hostile place for our children, humanity as a whole, and other forms of life.
In this regard, the Journal is accepting submissions of scientific articles that address climate change from an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary perspective.
As guest editors of this Thematic Dossier, entitled CLIMATE EMERGENCY, we invite submissions of original articles focusing on topics such as international cooperation in climate change mitigation efforts; anthropogenic disasters; climate litigation; multidimensional poverty; environmental public policies; urban resilience policies; energy transition; environmental vulnerability; and related subjects.
Submitted articles must be unpublished and not under review by any other journal.
