Rett Syndrome is a degenerative condition that
occur in girls, characterized by stereotyped hand
movements, disordered respiratory patterns , and loss
of language and motor skills. The authors describe a
very itlustrative case of RETT SYNDROME , detected in
a chitd three years old. The diagnosis is essentialty
clinical, it has been emphasized the diagnostic criteria
of Hagberg and the differential diagnosis for the
Syndrome .
