Anatomopropaedeutical confrontation: Austin Flint's murmur in a case of bacterial endocarditis
Keywords:
endocarditis bacterial, echocardiograph, Austin Flint's murmurAbstract
This article presents a case demonstrating the anatomoclinical and echocardiographic correlation of a septic thrombus in aortic valve, whose cardiac auscultation showed a diastolic murmur with presystolic reenforconent in mitral focus (Austin Flint 's murmur), and whose echocardiogram didn 't present the vegetation. The anatomical and radiological çorrelation of pulmonary embolism caused by bacterial endocarditis in tricuspid valve was discussed.
