Secondary hypopotassemia to metabolic alkalosis

After the exposition of an usual clinical case, the authors correlate the metabolic alkalosis, hypokalemia and hyponatremia, pointing out that the correct interpretation of the clinical and laboratorial data enables the adequate treatment of hypopotassemia.
