Abstract

This is a case report with necropsy of a patient with nephrotic syndrome secondary to renal involvement due to primary amyloidosis. It was highlighted, through a comparison with data from the literature, the occurrence of exclusive renal involvement and the importance of necropsy in the correlation between amyloid deposits and renal function.
