Abstract

Henoch-Schoenlein Purpura is a systemic vasculitis that affects many organ systems, especially skin, kidneys, bowel and joints, it is rarely associated with pregnancy, and can take its course causing obstetric complications. like preeclampsia and renal failure. This paper describes a case of Henoch-Schoenlein Purpura in a pregnant woman. who developed preeclampsia and preterm delivery. As pregnancy may increase the risk of arterial hypertension, nephrotic syndrome, and preeclampsia, treatment with low-dose corticosteroids might benefit some patients. A mulüdisciplinary approach is fundamental for a good maternal-fetal outcome in cases of Henoch-Schoenlein Purpura
