The Gynecology inpatient Unit, the Rooming ln and Obstetric Pathology inpatient Unit were e/ected to perform the test; each one tested only one brand of soap without anti-septic and dispenser sets. Results were written down on the Product Test Form. According to each product performance users conc!uded the forms with a favorable ar unfavorable opinion and this was used as the product classification criterion.
Results
Three dealers who had cosmetics registered products participated in this bidding. The Product Test Forms sent to the e/ected hospital units were properly filled out and returned. From the tested brands, two were approved by the health team and one was not. Users were disappointed with ai/ the dispensers. However, there were no reports on breakage ar other defects. Although the dispensers were not approved, the acquisition process of antiseptic-free soap was dane taking into account the /owest price between the two classified brands. The suppliers did not contest the test ar the resu!ts when these were used as criteria for acquiring the products.
Conclusion
The products acquired through this method maintained their satisfactory results after acquisition and utilization in ai! the assistance units of the Hospital.
