There is a need to have more sustainable projects with vernacular elements to minimize environmental impacts. To mitigate anthropogenic actions, alternative construction techniques such as Peruvian Quincha must be applied. This construction technology represents a learning opportunity for those involved, avoiding the use of artificial materials and promoting the optimization of resources. The objectives of this research are to highlight the importance of building
with the Peruvian Quincha, demonstrate its advantages and analyze this construction system. The methodology consists of a bibliographical review, field research, analysis of the Quincha technique and its stages in an experiment carried out in Aparecida of Goiânia in the state of Goiás with people of different ages, perceptions and photos. A workshop was experienced involving the Peruvian Quincha, noting its constructive step by step with manual work, amidst diverse benefits, sociability and solidarity. Bioconstructions are advisable to avoid socio-environmental damage. It is possible to learn how to create this constructive system, multiply and influence exemplary and inspiring attitudes.
