Merleau-Ponty crítico de Sartre
Keywords:
Phenomenology, consciousness, subjectivity, liberty, human relationsAbstract
The fundamental theme of Sartre philosophy are those of consciousness and total liberty, approach in his studies about emotions and the imaginary, about antology and dialectics. He qualify his philosophy as materialist and, because of this, the human relations are mediatized by the material nature and by a negative reciprocity.
Merleau-Ponty breaks his collaboration with the periodical "Modern Times" that he created with Sartre, for disagreeing with the Sartre way of understanding the phenomenology, the liberty, the consciousness, the subjectivity and the social relations that, for Merleau-Ponty are in the "'friendship", in the greek sense, and not in the violence as thought Sartre.
