ÍNDIA: CIÊNCIA E VERDADE

Abstract

This work intends to demonstrate that it can be established a conceptual approach between the “western” scientific knowledge and the way the indian culture gives to the subjects science and truth. We researched exhaustively the Vedas, the only body of knowledge of India and from this source we extracted two aspects: the ayuwedic medicine and subject on gunas, the basic tendencies of human nature. The conclusion we have reached is that it is necessary to delimit the multiptes dimensions of the reality that apear in the vedic knowledge in order to establish a formal approach with west.
