OBSERVATIONS ON THE LIFECYCLE OF ZELUS LEUCOGRAMMUS PERTY, 1834 (HEMIPTERA, REDUVIIDAE)
Abstract
Biological data on Zelus leucogrammus were obtained
under controlled laboratory conditions. Adults and
nymphs were collected from cassava fields. The first
two nymphal instars were fed on Drosophila melanogaster flies. The other instars as well as the adults of Z. leucogrammus were fed on Anagasta kuehniella larvae. Reproductive activities and post embrionic development were. investigated.
