The construction and use of a cage for the capture, transport, and rearing of insects is described. Dueto the lack of appropriate material which permits safety in the shipment of live insects to other regions, this cage presents an economical alternativa. lts size and shape is

adequate for these purposes. Field triais and laboratory tests have shown that the design is efficient, and can be used without restrictions.
