SURVEY OF BRASIXENOS BAHIENSIS KOGAN & OLIVEIRA, 1966 (STREPSIPTERA-STYLOPIDAE) IN POLYBJA JGNOBILIS (HALIDA Y, 1836) (HYMENOPTERA, VESPIDAE)

Three wasps colonies of Polybia ignobilis were studied for verification of the parasitism by Brasixenos bahiensis, the stages of infestation and the sex-ratio of this parasite. Analysis of populations revealed 31,3%; 8,5% e 2,5% of parasitism in the colonies C1, C2 e C3, respectively. The larval stage of wasps was infected by Strepsiptera. The average sex-ratio of the parasite was 2 male: 1 female.
