Abstract

A survery of the literature shows that many points remains unclear about the choice and bacterial effect of some chemical disinfectants. A statement on microbiological floor sampling surfaces in an attempt to measure bacterial contaminátion beco me important as a preliminary event to others studies in this area. 50, the purpose of this research was to determinate the microbial contamination of the Hospital floor Pediatric section. "
The sampling of the surface without previous disinfection showed an increase of the number of microrganisms colonies during ali the Hospital activity período There was an average increase of 53 microbial
colonies in a 24 hour-time sampling.
