por uma semiótica da teofania

Este artigo busca explorar algumas possibilidades metodológicas de aproximação do fenômeno da manifestação do divino no mundo material a partir de uma “semiótica da teofania”, explorando as imbricações poliédricas entre teologia/ciências da religião, estética e semiótica em contextos politeístas da imanência. Para tanto, partimos do conceito de “teofania”, presente na obra do pensador, filólogo e estudioso da religião alemão Walter Friedrich Otto (1874-1958), e do universo espiritual e filosófico helênico antigo como plataforma para tal reflexão.
