Abstract

This article presents an aesthetics analisys of the Public Relations activity as viewed by Pareyson's theory. Like other authors, Pareyson proposes that human doing contains aesthetics. Thus, specifying human achivements in the practice of Public Relations, one has that this activity, in order to contain aesthetical aspects, must involve a threefold doing. lt should be: well thought, well invented, and well executed. The practice of Public Relations has remained devoid of an accepted ideology, in spite of the many codes of ethics and conduct which have been drafted. lt is in aesthetics that Public Relations will find its way as a true profession accepted by society as contributing to the common good.
