A SYSTEM OF SERVICE OPERATION PLANNING AND CONTROL USED IN THE SUPPORT OF INTERVIEW SCHEDULING

This paper presents a system of information that was developed to support operation and service planning, focusing on profissional services. To promote the match of demand and resources, the support system is conceptua/ized and implemented to search the better appointment scheduling . The conception of this system follows the reference model of MRP/1. Besides, this mode/ was deve/oped to help managers make decision for manufacturing firms. lt could be used as a reference model sustained the making decision process even for service operations. The Beta version of the system was developed and tested to improve the process of making the appointment of the activity and it involved teachers and graduated students from the administration course . lts application validated its utility for improving the qua/ity leve/ of service operations and then justified its development effort.
